Phoenix Rock Gym

I started Phoenix Rock Gym in Tempe in 1992 with a friend with a total investment of $20,000.  PRG was the first climbing gym in Arizona and continues to be the largest and most visited gym in the state.  It is amazing what can be done if you just start - even with very limited funds.  I think this attitude can be used to complete the walking path through the town core and other projects that you and I would like to see done.

Desert Rat Forge

After seeing a blacksmith working hot iron at a Cave Creek art festival many years ago I was instantly hooked.  What started out as a hobby soon became a business as I started to make all sorts of artistic creations for fellow Creekers.  I have donated my skills to upgrade the town banner posts and create a memorial sculpture for Geoffrey Platts at our wonderful Foothills Library.  Also, in the works, helping the Sonoran Arts League to bring public art to the town core at no cost to the town.

Rope Guy Extraordinaire

Rock climbing is another passion of mine since 1975.  I use these skills as I travel around the country climbing across ceilings doing work that can't be done with ladders, lifts or scaffolding.
